TCM-Kongress in Rothenburg o.d. Tauber vom 09.Mai bis 11.Mai 2013

Thursday 09.05.2013 at 1:15 to 2:30 pm Richard Blitstein Member of Mindful Medicine Worldwide  "Incorporating the Practice of Mindfulness in Non-profit Volunteer TCM Services"

Saturday 11.05.2013 at 1.15 pm to 2.30 pm Philippe Annet and Bernard de Wurstemberger members of 'Acupuncture Without Borders International' " 21 years Experience of Acupuncture Without Borders".

Chinese Medicine applied on children with cerebral palsy, is a very effective form of therapy. Unfortunately this method is still rarely used. Based on positive experiences, it is Heiner Janssen`s request, to make Chinese Medicine accessible to more patients with neurological disorders in the near future.

' Investigation of moxibustion therapy for the treatment of tuberculosis in Africa and the first results'

Direct moxibustion has a history which includes claims of treating and curing TB and TB-type disease. Moxafrica, a charitable organisation in the UK is carrying out research and investigation using the model of action research in order to establish whether moxibustion can help combat TB, particularly drug-resistant TB in resource poor environments in present day conditions and if so how this might best be achieved. The first results show a way how to save millions of lives.

TCM Congress Rothenburg o.d. Tauber 31.May to 5.June 2011

During the entire Congress we have a fundraising campaign for Japan. Dr.Kölblinger waived his conference fee and calls on his Colleagues, to do the same, in part or entirely on their Honorary refrain. These funds will support a acupuncture-Family, which has been hit hard by the disaster. Following the motto 'Acupuncturists help Acupuncturists'. All other donations will go to our Post-disaster project JETAP in Japan. Of course, any decision whether and for which project he would like to donate is by them self

3rd TCM Social Forum Friday 1.15 pm to 2.30 pmFor the 42nd TCM Kongress the TCM Social Forum is meeting for the third time and once again we are happy to quickly present the global relief projects (Indien, Nepal, Thailand, Afrika, Laos) of our platform during this lunch break.

Our experience keeps showing us what great use acupuncture, moxibustion and qigong mean to people in developing countries, for whom basic medical care is hard to come
by or even totally unavailable.

Here in Germany, we would also like to offer access to Chinese Medicine for those socially challenged. Therefore, we are interested in further expanding clinical consultations according to the Berlin Model. If this stirs your interest, we would be happy to welcome you here.

On Sunday 5 th June there will be another chance to take part in an exchange of experiences of individual projects and other organisations, and to learn from past years developments of the tcm Social Forum.
